Author and performer Echo Brown was known around the world for her novel, Black Girl Unlimited: The Remarkable Story of a Teenage Wizard, was diagnosed with lupus in 2015.
She passed away on 16th September 2023, aged 39, following a long battle with end-stage renal failure due to lupus.
