As you probably are aware, many people have never heard of and do not understand what Lupus is, much less understand the effect it has on our lives. This is your chance to help remedy this!
My name is Fern and I am a MSc student at the University of Glasgow, studying psychology. I am looking to interview Lupus (SLE) patients to find out about their experience of living with the condition, i.e. how it affects their daily life and how they cope with/manage their Lupus. As someone who was diagnosed with Lupus just over one year ago this a personal matter which I am passionate about increasing knowledge and awareness of!
Participation would involve a one-off interview conducted over skype or in person (where practicable). I am looking to begin interviews asap, hopefully within the next week or so (between now and 10/06/18.
I am seeking participants who:
have been medically diagnosed with lupus (SLE) on or before April 2017
are aged 18 or over
are well enough to take part in a skype or face-to-face interview
